As Saudi Arabia is focused on finding the best deals out there to expand their economy and grow, recently the country has decided to take part of one of the biggest meetings and events in the area which will hold many different bodies, leaders and multinational companies to help raise fund towards the expansion of the country. This conference held more than 300 different entities from Saudi Arabia and Japan that will work hand in hand to increase the business capacity and the partnerships between both countries.
This was a forum held by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) which was named the Saudi-Japan Vision 2030 Business Forum, held in Tokyo. This event was purposed to raise funds between strong partnerships and deals between both countries as they have long been partners in different deals. One of the main partners in the conference that made it happen was Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) which was focused on finding different opportunities for investments between both countries for huge projects.
This was commented on by Mohammed Al-Tuwaijri the Minister of Saudi Economy and Planning by saying, “Today’s forum is a testimony to the success of the strategic direction set by the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030 two years ago, which seeks to drive private-sector involvement, both by partnering with public-sector entities. At SAGIA, we have been working on creating a more attractive and favorable business environment in Saudi Arabia, which is making it easier for foreign companies to access opportunities in the Kingdom.”
