New Growth In Aviation Industry

The Malaysian Aviation Industry has been showing great growth lately in the market with very positive values in recent reports. The company is focusing on capitalizing on the reason behind this growth as it might change the whole direction of the company. The growth noted in numbers  were associated with their National Aerospace Blueprint 2030 plan which has had a revenue boost with almost 6.7% year-on-year growth. This value is described as almost an increase from MYR13.5 billion which was noted back in 2017, reaching a value of almost MYR14.4 billion ($3.5 billion) in 2018.

The company revealed that the main reason behind the growth in numbers and the high productivity and quality is the fact that they are focusing on acquiring young talents who are well associated with the mindset of the new fresh entrepreneurs.

This was commented on by a spokesman from the MAIA who said the following: “MAIA is currently looking at having more local SME players at Tier 3 and 4 to support Tier 1 and 2 players. We believe that bringing in foreign Tier 1 and 2 players into the Malaysian ecosystem will accelerate workflow for our local suppliers. In line with the vision of making Malaysia an aerospace hub for Asia-Pacific, and positioning the country to the same level as Mexico and Morocco as an established aerospace hub for Americas and Europe, respectively, Malaysia is looking at attracting aerospace companies in Europe to be located in Malaysia.”
