AFP Now Expands Offices To Singapore

One of the biggest financial related corporates in the world has recently made a move towards the world’s biggest financial movers. The Association for Financial Professionals have announced that they now opened their first office in Singapore, marking a new expansion that will change the country and help the company on many levels. Singapore is known to be the strongest financial sector in Asia if not the world.

The country is happy for the expansion as they were still having setbacks in terms of talent in the financial sector. The main purpose of the AFP is to educate and train different experts on many different aspects of the financial sector. This includes specializations on many different levels that can help solve the Singapore main problem which is talent acquisition.

This was commented on by the Regional Director of APAC, Himashi Soriao by saying, “The treasury and finance profession is rapidly transforming, and nowhere more so than in Asia. Whether treasury and finance professionals are interested in transitioning from accounting to financial planning and analysis, improving their regional treasury centre, or learning new forecasting techniques, AFP has a training solution that meets their needs. Opening an office in Singapore will help us better serve the profession in this region. Asia is experiencing a paradigm shift in treasury and finance, and AFP is going to be a part of that evolution. As organizations seek to upskill their finance departments, they can look to AFP’s dual certifications to help them achieve that goal.”
