The U.S.- Saudi Arabian Business Council (the “Committee” or “USSABC”), a respective Not-For-Profit association with workplaces in the United States and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today declares the takeoff of its President and Chief Executive Officer, Edward Burton, successful October 1, 2019.
Designated in 2006, Ed has rendered more than 13 years of esteemed support of the American and Saudi business networks in the advancement of worldwide business. He is leaving to seek after other expert chances. Steve Demetriou, Chair and Chief Executive Officer of Jacobs Engineering Group, and the Council’s U.S. Co-Chairman, remarked: “for the whole group, we stretch out to Ed our appreciation and all the best in his future undertakings. He has served the Council well.”
Ed Burton joined the Council following discretionary administration having served for a long time as the Commercial Attaché in the American Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. A previous disputing lawyer and Director of the State of New Jersey’s worldwide exchange office, Ed carried profound experience to the Council from his earlier work with organizations in creating worldwide market techniques.
During his residency, the Council extended its item and administration contributions, broadened its effort over the United States and the Kingdom, and brought a great many American and Saudi organizations together for several fruitful business associations and exchanges.

Ms. Susanne Lendman, Executive Director of the Council, has been named acting President and CEO until an official quest for Ed Burton’s successor has been effectively finished.
