Main digital trends on the international market-
Firstly, most probably one of the most prominent trends in the consumer and business environments is hyper-connectivity. 2/3 rd of the world’s households own a smartphone. The ubiquitous connectivity is giving individuals access to more data than ever before.
In today’s connected world, data is a highly valuable tool. Data is now also known as the new currency of the digital economy. It is also called as the “Internet of Enterprises” era, a third phase that follows the first internet revolution we experienced in 1985 and the era of mobile and social media, which came around in the year 2000.
Customers want a single point of contact for as many services as possible. Convergence gives this factor.
Which of these trends are in Romania now?
I believe all of them. Connectivity is the new normal. The reason for this is the number of internet users has exploded over the last few years. This is giving away to a more connected society. It is estimated that 3/4 of the world’s population will have internet access by 2030. Romania is not an exception, as each year we see an exponential increase in mobile data consumption.
The use of various applications, websites and smart devices have gone up. As the usage increases the amount of data that is generated has grown tremendously.
We have the know-how and resources to help companies understand their customers better and to grow their business while optimizing the resources they invest. Data can determine the success of any company in a competitive market.
