New ride hailing app is now starting to know how hard it is to compete compared to all the different companies that are eating the market. Uber and Careem might be the most leading ride hailing companies in the world and Middle East but this is why Waymo is looking forward to eat majority of the Asian market. They move forward to sign a deal with Renault and Nissan which will change the course of their model.

The company will now be able to get self-driving kits from both companies to help cut expenses on drivers. The main target of the company is to be the number one provider for ride hailing and packages delivery. This new feature will be associated with state of the art tech where the cars will be driven automatically without any drivers. Renault Group and Nissan Motor Co. already developed this technology and are well tested. As such a technology is still new to the market and demands education to the community, one of the best ways to penetrate it into the market is through already well-established services that uses cars as their main channel.

This was commented on by the CEO of Waymo, John Krafcik who said the following during his speech explaining their new deal: “This is an ideal opportunity for Waymo to bring our autonomous technology to a global stage with an innovative partner. The company will use the partnership to help address changing consumer behavior, adding Nissan aims to be an early provider of driverless mobility service.”
